To search go to http://www.pubmed.gov. Most databases and search engines use stop words. Stop words are identified as "unsearchable." These words generally appear so frequently that to search them would significantly slow down the search process. Some of the PubMed stop words include: a, and, between, due, found, km, mg, sum, with In some databases you can override the stop word by enclos- ing it in quotation marks. This is not the case with PubMed. Stop words are not indexed and therefore are not searchable.
