Cynthia L Shamel, Principal holds a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University and has over 12 years of experience in business research and library reference. She offers workshops on competitive intelligence research and has authored articles for the professional research literature on marketing library services and on providing remote or electronic reference service. Ms. Shamel is the 2003-2004 President of the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP). She is also a member of the American Library Association and the Special Libraries Association.
